Grand Vacations Achievers Blog Hop - Seeing 3D

Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for November. This month our theme is "Seeing 3D". We are sure you will find great inspiration from the projects that you are about to see.

If you are reading my blog in an email, please be sure to click over to my blog to see the hop list on the very bottom.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Claudia Perry or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Claudia Perry.

I've had this idea in my head for a while now and I am glad that it came together as I had pictured it! I decided to make a Holiday Frame:

I kept the glass out of the frame so I could take a better picture. But I think I will put it in once I'll set it out since the little trees can bend so easily (as you can see in the picture below)... Here is a side view of the picture frame:

I've die cut the tree on the right side of the  11 inch wide  white CS. Since the edgelit would not cut all the way across, I simply used scissors and cut across from the ending cut to the outside of the cardstock in a wavy motion. The houses were cut sort of in the center and I hand cut to the left and right. The sleigh is just a smaller piece of basic gray cardstock and it is glued behind the other 2 layers. BTW, I've gotten this frame from the Dollar Tree, but that was several years ago... but they always have great finds in regards of frames etc...
