My Friend(s)–we have a sneak peek

I wanted to share a little card that I made today. I finally pulled out my new Letterpress plate that is going to be in the new catalog.

And if you know me, I’ve had somewhat of a love-hate relationship with those, well the one I “had” was a strip with a pattern on it. And after several unsuccessful mishaps, I had given up on this product line for several months. BUT the new plate was too gorgeous for me to resist. I pre-ordered it and I am so happy to report that it works SO MUCH better that then strip, and I’ve gotten an awesome result… right away!

Here is my card:

See that stunning background? Well after you recover from the serious sparkle anyway..

Here is a close up of the pattern and glitter:

I used my little craft spot to ink up the letterpress plate. Then the sandwich is as follows: Platform on tab 1, letterpress plate, CS one unscratched clear cutting plate. And it worked like a charm!

I love, love, LOVE how crisp this pattern came out and I am pretty happy with my card too Smile

By the way, I’ve stamped the main image in Classic ink onto Whisper White CS, then tore the edges. Then I’ve pressed it face down, onto the adhesive sheet so I had the whole surface covered with glue. I peeled it off and covered it completely with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter!

The stamp set used, also new, is called “My Friend” and I am pretty sure you will see me use often.

Only a few more days until you can start ordering from the new catalog. If you don’t have a new copy yet, let me know! I have extras!
