Gathered Leaves + Brick & Mortar

Today I was in the mood do something a little more artsy yet with a clean feel... is that even a thing? Well, see what I came up with:

I had created the leaves previously, see this post and finally used them today LOL...

The doily was inked with direct to paper technique in Soft Suede...

The banner is "faux suede". Which is simple to do, you pull a strip of cardstock across the edge of a bone folder back and forth, while flipping it... you continue to do so until the fibers start to separate... then you pull the 2 pieces of cardstock apart. The backside will be fuzzy and sort of leathery looking...
