Lily Pad Die and Stampin' Blends

I had die-cut some of the detailed shapes with the Lily Pad die and didn't use on that project... so they've been sitting on my desk for a few days calling my name every time I reached for my black ink pad... today was their time!

The beginning of the year I made the decision to make at least 2 cards when I am designing one... since I am cutting a piece of cardstock in half anyways... And usually I made the 2 exactly the same. But today I had to change it up a tiny bit because of the 2 shapes...

I had die-cut the lilies from white cardstock and then used my Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends markers to shade them a little. This shows you how you can have multiple colors on a die-cut shape without stamping ;-)
