Card #2 for our Stamp-a-Stack this month was this fun Butterfly closure card.
If we used the smaller butterfly for the closure, we simply added a larger vellum butterfly underneath first (the vellum CS was brayered/sponged in Gorgeous Grape)
To create the slit in the front of the card, we adhered the textured layer first, then punched the opening and adhered the cardstock punched shape back into the opening with mini glue dots... Here is a closer look of the inside of the card
The large butterfly is popped up on the punched shape, we used 4 mini dimensionals in the center to make sure it will stay on the card when pulled through the front...
Oh and the fun background, is a water-color wash... Simply get the watercolor paper REALLY WET, then use a stipple brush to apply 3 different inks, let dry and stamp over it..
Thank you for stopping by!
