Stamp and Sip Success

It's been a while since I posted to my blog. And I am sorry for that. It has been a whirl wind of changes... I will post a card first and then copy my update below for those that may not know what's going on and would like to know ...

We had a "Stamp and Sip" session online last night and had lost of fun! I challenged the ladies to pull inspiration from a project they may have had in their Pinterest file and then create it with a change...

Well I totally created something different... even though I had pulled up an image from Pinterest. But that is what it's for... to get inspired.

Here is my card:

I know the Magnolia is retired but if you don't own it (say WHAT?) you can create something like this with another open line image.

I stamped the image on Vellum cardstock, flipped it over and used my stylus to "color in" the blossom by scratching the vellum, that in turn makes it turn white. I used Stampin' Blends markers for the leaves and the stem... also on the back!
I stamped some splattering on the Flirty Flamingo CS before layering the Magnolia onto it, then onto black CS and onto the card... I used pearls to hide the mini glue dots ;-) EASY

I hope you have been creative and hope we will get to stamp some more together in the future!

Thank you for stopping by!

Here is the short version of my update: We are moving to New Jersey in March! Yes I am going to continue as a Stampin' Up demo and will be available online more so then before. Just be patient as I try to reconfigure things.

Here is the original info:
Quick update for those of you who may not have seen my email last week...it's lengthy, but you want to read it
I hope this post finds you all well and Happy!
Today I wanted to share some exciting news with you. I am trying to think of a clever or fun way to do this but think it's best to just cut to the chase...
1) NO I am NOT retiring as your Stampin' Up! demonstrator
2) We just have to make some bigger changes in how we go about classes in the future, because... we are going to MOVE! I know, I never thought these words would come out of my mouth!
Well now that this is out in the open... here are some things I would like to share with you:
- Rob has accepted a new job at Fort Dix that will require us to move to New Jersey. He will report for work there on the 30th of January and I will follow once we've found a new home to move into! I'll update once we know more
- Because of the move, I am guessing that I am not going to hold any kind of in house class for right now. If we see that I am here longer until we find a new home there, then I can plan again. Right now... we are dealing with not so fun sorting out and packing up...
- Once we are completely moved, I am going to offer online classes to keep you all motivated and stamping. We will use technology and possibly even have the opportunity of you guys coming together at a location to create the projects designed by me and I will be there via Zoom to guide you guys
- We will do online craft chats and just have fun
- This will not be the end of our friendship and connection
- I will always be able to help you with your project questions and also help you place orders
With this all said, I do want to thank you for your support and friendship and hope that the change in location will not bring this to a stop. I do appreciate you all!!!
I am going to create a monthly host code that can be used for your ordering needs or of course you can have your own host order any time as well.
If you are using the host code, there will be gifts from me involved! For time being, I will post a new code at the beginning of the month and it will be open all month long. So you can use it multiple times if the mood strikes

MOVE UPDATE:
To make a long story short - we have found a house in New Jersey - YAY! But the closing there is not until 4/7/2022. However, we are able to sell our house in GA before then and the closing here is set for 3/3/2022! With that said, Rob will be back for the closing and take me, the girls and all of our stuff to a rental in NJ.
I had hopes to be here longer but things don't always work the way we want them to. Soooo, while I want to do another Stamp-a-Stack before I leave, I am not sure I can swing it with everything going on. IF I can, I will do a shout out and surprise you.. right now I am hunkering down to get my 2021 taxes done and then hold the retired item sale.
So please stay tuned and be patient with me. I know this is not great but the best I can do at the moment. Miss you all and appreciate you guys!!
