After technique class the other day, I still had some extra leaves (originated in MDS2 and cut out with electronic cutter) left and wanted to put them to use.
So I made this quick card:
I don’t know if you can tell (you may have to click on the photo to enlarge it), but the Old Olive CS behind the leaves is shimmery! The story behind this: When I use the shimmer spray, I do that in the color catcher and normally have some plain typing paper in there. So the other day I thought all that shimmer is just going to waste. Not anymore! Besides the typing paper I now have a half a sheet of CS in there at all times. And when shimmery enough I replace it with another piece. This way I always have pretty shimmer paper on hand in any color I might want!
On this card, I also used the wood grain embossing folder and the oh so cute little stamp set “Lovely Little Labels” with the matching punch from the “Little Labels Punch Pack”. I attached that little label to the ribbon with mini glue dots… and added a small pearl on each side.
