Summer Sihouettes, a messy CASE

I felt it was time to attempt to case a card from the catalog again. (Remember, I've kept a copy of an old catalog and tear out pages of cards I want to copy...)

Here is my creation for you:

Since I was a little heavy handed with my watercolor washing... I couldn't stamp the greeting directly on the layer and ended up adding it via a banner. And I needed a butterfly!

Oh and by the way, if you look closely on my version, you might see the different sizes of splatters... That was done with a wet toothbrush and re-inker... And I did stamp the leaves double in each spot to make them darker, but offset slightly. (your eyes are not doing a trick on you). I used Delightful Dijon as the card base and not white... because I thought you would just expect that from me LOL. There, I can still make colored cards ;-)

All in all, I am happy how the card turned out and had tons of fun being messy
