I am so excited to participate in the first hop of the year with the "One Stamp At A Time" crew. So when you read the title, it leads me to the conclusion that we are using of course Sale-a-Bration items... but we can also use items from the Occasions catalog. And that's what I did, I used from both!
I used the "Petal Passion" Designer Series Paper and colored in the flowers with our Stampin' Blends.
To create the "celebrate", I backed some white cardstock with and adhesive sheet prior to die-cutting. I removed the word from the surrounding cardstock... then while still on the adhesive carrier sheet, I colored the letters using the Stampin' Blends as well...
Then I made a matching item... that uses the same Designer Series Paper
I cut the DSP to fit inside our Acetate Card boxes, decorated it a butterfly and contrasting strip of cardstock... and added a note pad and pen. This is perfect to carry around in your hand bag and not get the note pad all banged up because it's protected in the box, but not heavy...
Be sure to hop through all of the blogs so you can see all of the great ideas! Next in line is Jennifer Hill
