April Stamp-a-Stack

Last Thursday and Friday I've had my second round of Stamp-a-Stack, Yay!! I have to say we all really seem to enjoy these. Everybody had a good time, liked the cards, and more so the fact that they now have 11 more cards ready to send out. Yes, this time my ladies got to make 1 more card, simply because for the one set of cards I had two colors, and I could not decide which one they would get to make 3 or 2 cards of, to make them 5. So I let them make 3 of each ;-)

In the picture below you only see 5 though. And it might not come through in the picture, the solid block is a textured background stamp and was embossed with Hologram Highlights Embossing Powder. You should have seen the table, the floor and everyones faces after we were done with the glittery embossing chore. It's very sparkly at my house! This card uses "Still Life Stems".

The card below uses "Both Way Blossom" yet again. Once I started using this stamp set, I REALLY loved it! This card was inspired by another stamper online. I just changed out a few things. We've stamped the flowers in black StazOn ink and colored in with Aqua Pen and re-inker liquid. The pattern that's stamped over the flowers, is from the "Looks Like Spring" stamp set. We also got to play with my Cuttlebug and several of the embossing folders. We applied the ink to the raised places with a brayer. Lots easier then a sponge!
