Meadow (June Stamp-a-Stack Card #2)

And here is a chart of the options we had with 6 pieces of Designer series paper... It still shows the black and white gingham ribbon, but it had become not orderable and we switched to Early Espresso ribbon

The greeting used was from an older Paper Pumpkin stamp set, which are not getting enough use, so they are going to be put to work as well from now on LOL
The DSP was retired, so I did not list it, but you can make this card with pretty much any paper that is not too busy... It's a great layout to use up some DSP scraps!

A sketch from "Sip and Stamp"

Last week we had our online meetinge called "Sip and Stamp" and this time I supplied the ladies with a card sketch (see further down)... Here is the card I came up with... You may notice some retired items like embossing folder and Designer Series paper... I am starting to use and still show-case those because a) you might have them  b) those cane be replaced with current items and c) it will still get you inspired and give you a starting point for your projects

When following a card sketch, you can either follow it to a "T" or use as guidance. Like here I didn't take the 3 flowers literal... I replaced them with butterflies. Equally, you could make the circle an oval or square/rectangle... have fun with layouts!

Oh and then while we were still chatting and crafting, I was able to put a second card together using scraps from my desk ;-)

Ornate Thanks on a Diagonal Cut Card

I had received a swap card that I absolutely loved the layout and had planned to re-created... but the Sale-a-Bration time period ended before I could so I kept the card aside and decided to create with current items...

Here is my card for you guys:

Basically what I did was this:
- fold CS in half
- measure up 1 inch on the right side and 2 inches on the left side and use paper trimmer to cut the diagonal edge
- stamp
- decorate...
That simple!

BTW:
The DSP piece on the inside of card is 4 1/4 by 2
The Poppy Parade and Calypso Coral CS strips are 3/4 by 5 each so you have enough length to trim them down once they are on the card front

If you want more details than that and see how I added the colored cardstock strips on the diagonal, you can watch the little video:
