Springtime Impressions with fun Backgrounds

The cards I made today are a combination of left-over pieces of several projects, mixed up and added the greetings, embellishments and foil butterfly...

The backgrounds were created by applying some re-inker drops onto a piece of plastic (window sheet or report cover) then spritzing it with Rubbing alcohol and pressing the thick which cardstock into the colorful mess... if there were big white spots, I simply pressed that part of the cardstock into an inked up area once more...

Swap card with Brusho

This is the swap card I made using the Brusho's. I was going for a more masculine look...

I love how the one part of the background almost looks like a sunburst. That just happened randomly from shaking the brusho crystals down onto the wet paper.

I love playing with them and will need to move on to use them to paint with etc. even though I am a sucker for a fun "water-colored" background!

Brusho Crystal Colors - Sneak Peek

Oh boy, do I love new toys and especially when they make it so very easy to feel artsy. Our new "Brusho Crystal Colors" do just that. Look:
