I love multi-tasking

Well if you know me a little better, you may know that I love to multi-task!

Today I was working on my 2nd card for my Technique Class this Sunday and while trying to use up some "retired" cardstock I also wanted to bring in something new! So I had my mind set on using the "Faux Silk" Technique, use up some Carousel Notes with the old In-Colors, and to use the Big Shot as a little preview teaser. . .

While I was taking a little break, I was reading some new blog posts and saw that Shelli posted something new. (For those that didn't know: Shelli Gardner, Cofounder and CEO of Stampin' Up! has her own blog now! It is located at: www.soshelli.com)  She posted HER project for the challenge she had issued! Everyone can participate as long as the word "Celebrate" is on the project.

So I started thinking, I just need to include "Celebrate" on my card for Sunday and I'll have all bases covered :-)

And here is the finished project:

I've cut one of the Carousel Notes into half and added another (left intact) behind, to make it a gate-fold card.

Do you think I used enough dimensionals on the flower?:
