Yesterday evening we had our monthly scrapbook class and we had lots of fun making the pages.
This month I've followed a sketch that my friend Nikki discovered.
This is the Sketch:
So I had a starting point, which made it lots easier for me. And my 12x12 layout turned out like this (Note: the left page, follows the sketch and the right side is made to match somewhat):
And of course I needed a set of 6x6 pages as well:
Supplies used:
Eggplant Envy CS + re-inker, Pixie Pink CS + re-inker, White CS, Shimmery White CS, White Craft ink, White Embossing Powder, White Gel Pen, Dimensionals, Aqua Painter, Eyelet Border Punch. (The pink strip is actually wrapping paper, and it's a little shiny and hard to photograph)
The titles were cut with my Cricut that I don't use nearly enough, but when I do, I really love it :-)
Edited to Add: I did not use a specific Cricut Cartridge! A while back Becky turned me onto a wonderful, wonderful program called "Sure Cuts A Lot" by Craft Edge . It's a software that you install on your computer and it works with your Cricut. The great thing is that you can use virtually ANY font there is without purchasing all those Cricut Cartridges :-) And you can do even more... I made a deer head silhouette (actually 2, facing in) for my hubby's truck back window a while back and he really likes them!
I think starting next month, I will take pictures of the individual 12x12 pages so they can be viewed a little larger.
Have a great Friday!
Love your pages Claudia....gorgeous colors...which Cricut cartridge is that?...love the cursive! {SMILES}
