Today is Friday and even though I am still at convention, it's time for the Blogger's Challenge! This week we were given a Color Combination of Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Soft Suede... and we could use neutrals.
Those colors go together very nice and it was pretty easy to get this card done before I left. Can you believe it, I worked ahead of time :-) so I could enjoy the time at convention learning new things and playing with new toys.
Speaking of... I still had my newest toy, the LATTICE die out and this idea popped into my head... how about a stained glass look:
So I went and cut the shape in all 3 colors and then besides throwing away those little pieces... I just used the Curry and Olive ones with the Soft Suede "Frame". The "Diamond" shapes in-between I kept in white, filled in with Crystal Effects and then added Dazzling Diamonds. The background was created with the floral cluster stamp from "Bird on a Branch"...
Don't forget to check back tomorrow for the last of my swap cards! If you like today's card, you just might like tomorrow's :-)
WOW-das ist ja eine großartige Karte, Claudia.Sehr interessant :-)
