Lattice Luminary

Well let me show you what I gave to my November Stamp Club hostesses…
I am so excited, that this item came out just how I had pictured it!
Here it is:

I bought some of those “fake votives” and didn’t even know that they come color changing besides white too. So I had a very nice surprise when I tried mine out. The little candle changes it’s flame color from red, blue, green to purple or something like that I think…
Here is a picture with the lights off in the room:

And for those curious minds of you, I am going to type up the measurements, NOW!
To make this luminary, you will need:
- Lattice Die and Die Cutting System
- Black CS to cut out the Lattice Shape (2 pieces!)
- Vellum CS 4 by 3 1/2 (2 pieces!)
- Black CS strip 10 1/2 by 2
- Paper Cutter and Scoring tool
- Sticky Tape
- Embellishments such as Rhinestone Brads or Ribbon
- Fake Votive Candle
How to:
- Cut out the 2 lattice pieces and set aside
- Each of the Vellum pieces has to get scored on the long
sides 1/4 inch in (to make it a 3 1/2’ square after the
sides are folded in). To make it easier for me, I put the
4 inch long piece into my cutter horizontally and aligned
it at 3 3/4 then scored. Then rotated and did the same
  on the opposite side:
 vellum pieces2
- Sticky Tape was added to the narrow flaps
- The lattice pieces were attached to vellum with
   Rhinestone Brads
- The long black strip of CS gets scored at 3 1/2 on each
side to create the “frame” for the luminary
- The vellum pieces were adhered to the “frame” via
  the previously added sticky tape
Enjoy!
