Technique Sunday: Faux Leather

Today I am holding my monthly “Try This Technique Sunday” Class and will show how to do the “Faux Leather” technique.

It’s a pretty old technique, but so worth repeating! All you need is Masking tape pieces over a piece of CS, classic ink, clear embossing powder and a heat tool…

Then you can make cool backgrounds like in this card:

Normally you apply the classic ink over the masking tape by dapping ink pads across. But on the second card, I’ve tried something different… Ink Refill with sponges… It works pretty GOOD and you don’t have to worry about possibly messing up your ink pads…

Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon!
