Like so many times… I am a day late for MaryJo’s Sketch Challenge. But, like I always say… Better late than never! Hey Norma, this is post #2 in 2 days *grin* + Hugs!
I am going to keep this short and sweet and show you her sketch right away:
And this is my card:
It’s a very simple card, but the DSP and ribbon does give it a finished look I think.
I’ve used the DSP from Simply Scrappin’ Kit “Christmas Cheer”. The small oval punch is in the Holiday Mini Catalog and matches the image from the “Tags Til Christmas” stamp set! The dove die cut was created with the Holiday Windows Magnetic piece that works with the Movers & Shapers XL die. Colors used: Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist and Always Artichoke.
I’ve sponged some white Craft ink over the embossed snowflakes to make them stand out a little more…
Have you started with your Christmas Cards, YET? If not, you may want to come to my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack next week…
Make sure to check out MaryJo's Blog to see what the other participants came up with...
Love it, I agree the paper and ribbon does finish it off, love the white on the snowflakes too. Great job on the sketch, thanks so much for playing along.
