Today I want to show you a card that had me puzzled for over a week. Talk about a TRUE challenge!
Don’t you just hate when you have an idea in your head but whatever you do, it just does not come out like you envisioned it! Well that’s exactly what went on with my card.
You see, after Technique Class I had this cool idea to use the “by-product” as the background in a card, and just knew what it should be like. I wanted to use a dragonfly with it, that was a must. I was so excited and got started right away. I glued and layered and made my dragonfly out of vellum, had a greeting label ready… and was NOT happy with the look at all. I decided I needed a white CS layer under the dragonfly to make it stand out because it was lost on the textured background. Done that … but still not happy. So I stepped away and let it sit. Then today, I changed a few things and think now it works. I actually like it… see for yourself:

This is just to show you, that sometimes these creations don’t come together as easy as we’d like… BUT, don’t give up! Just walk away for a few hours, days or weeks And it will come together eventually when looked at with a fresh mind!
Looks great, Claudia! Love the flower under the dragonfly...it really make the dragonfly pop.
