Downline Meeting Projects

Last night I my monthly downline meeting at my house and I thought I’d share the projects we made…

But first, some of you may not know what a “dwnline” is. A downline is a person that signed up with Stampin’ Up! to be a demonstrator under me, hence the word “downline”. At our monthly meetings we discuss business questions, share new ideas, show new products and do a “shoe-box-swap” and have fun. No, we don’t swap the boxes, LOL. It just means everyone, brings one project plus the materials for everyone at the meeting to complete one of theirs, and used to the materials were transported in a shoe box.

We had lots of fun last night! I always look forward to our meetings… So let me share the projects:

Hillary_March2012

I prepared this card in honor of Hillary, my newest “downline girl”. She just got her starter kit last week. Since I wanted her to participate, I came up with this card featuring only product that came in her kit so she can use it for her first event perhaps…

diagonal2

This is a take on my card posted earlier, and uses the “Blossom Builders” kit and new “Simply Scored Diagonal Plate”. The little card is 3x3. We scored the corners of the white layer in an 1/4” interval and also created a matching envelope Smile

julie_march2012

This card was design by Julie. She got very creative with the eggs! She used the ovals die for them and used the “Fossil Stone” technique.

The funny thing is she said she did this card with eggs only because she didn’t have a current Easter stamp set. But Marcie had her Easter set with her, so we got creative and added some of those images! Now that I look at the card, I notice that I forgot the add the Pearl to the Tag. Oops! Will do that NOW Smile

marcie_march2012

This card was designed by Marci my local demo friend and “adoptee”. She is the “downline” of my friend Deidre who moved away left an orphan downline behind. So Marci gets to come to our meetings too! She used the stamp set “Heaven Blessed” from the Occasions Mini catalog (page 20) and had us watercolor the images with an Aqua Painter and inks from ink pad lids. Boy we were so quiet because we were concentrating to color it all in…

If you feel like you would like to be part of my Stampin’ Up Family and come to the meetings or if out of town participate in the swap by mail… now is a great time to sign up because the starter kit is only $125 (valued more than $345), plus you’ll get free DSP packs each moth for the rest of the year! If you want more info please feel free to contact me and/or check details here!
