Cathy’s Request

During this month’s stamp club meeting I used a piece of cardstock that I had texture with the Finial Press Embossing folder and then I brayered ink over the texture.

Cathy was wondering if only pattern would work were the texture was bigger and wondered if it would work with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. So I told her I would try and report back.
I am happy to announce that it works VERY well with that folder! I've use So Saffron CS and brayered the texture with Soft Suede ink...

Even though they both turned out beautifully, I am partial to the 1st one and had to make a quick card:



By the way, the “rick rack” on top of the vanilla satin ribbon was die cut from soft suede CS with the Tasteful Trim die! I just love how the flower from Mixed Bunch looks when stamped in Soft Suede ink onto Soft Suede CS!

So go on and pull out your embossing folders and brayer and have fun creating those neat backgrounds! Just remember, don’t apply too much pressure…
