Get Well Wishes for Max

A little over a week ago my friend’s Dog Max was injured very badly by another dog.

When my dogs heard about that they were very sad and wanted to do something nice for Max. So Annie and Sam asked me to please send some specials treats, a toy and a card.

And since Annie knows how much fun I have using “My Digital Studio” she suggested I’d go and look if there was a new download we could use for their card.

Indeed there was (well back in February anyway), it is called “Patterned Pets”.

So of course I purchased that (item 129599) and went to work.

I actually used a card template and just changed a few things. Here is the hybrid card:

 

Annie and Sam liked the way the card turned out and so do I.

Quick tip: If a template has ribbon in place you can always add real ribbon after printing out the project. Like I did. I simply used my Exacto Knife and cut a slit on each side of the frame following the scallops, then slid the ribbon through and tied into a knot. Pretty easy

We were so happy to hear on Sunday that Max is doing much better, though there is still a lot of healing left to do and possibly some surgeries. Poor guy! We hear, he is “antsy”… which is a good sign… But, we hope he takes it easy…
