Today I wanted to play along with the crew from "Global Design Project" since they had a pretty interesting sketch this week!
I'll post my card first and then the sketch below...
Here is the sketch:
And if you look at it closely, the green background says "Greeting", that's exactly what fascinated me, because me hardly ever create a background with word stamps... BUT, I was up for the challenge ;-)
I hope you like my take on this challenge and be sure to check out the other samples too... it might give you the inspiration you need to get started on your next card.
Supplies used:
Oh what a cool background!and I love all those pearls.
ReplyDeleteGreat combination of colors! Did you build the "...BECAUSE YOU'RE AWESOME" square? Did you also try other background colors besides black? I think black as background color is a great choice.
ReplyDeleteI adore your take on the sketch we posted at Global Design Project this week, it was a good sketch to get us all thinking. This is one of my top cards for the week (I am not one of the judge's however just my personal view), you got bonus points for the colours you used. Thank you for playing at Global Deaign Project this week.
ReplyDeleteClaudia - I love that you created the background with this sentiment. It's large enough to fill the space but not so small that you have to stamp for hours on end. I'm mesmerized by the detail of these pearls. I know how small that image is - it's amazing you were able to place them so perfectly. Thank you so much for playing along with this week's Global Design Project Sketch Challenge!
ReplyDeleteI like the shadowing around the "...BECAUSE YOU'RE AWESOME" square to give it a bit on vintage appeal. Again great card!
