ICS Blog Hop The Season of Gratitude

Today is the first Wednesday of the month and that means the crew from the "Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop" is going to share their creations. This month our theme is this month's "Paper Pumpkin" kit called "Season of Gratitude".

Every month the kit includes a different project, but has EVERYTHING you need to complete the projects in a short time.  While that is already wonderful (especially if you need a card in a jiffy)... I think it's also great that after you're done with the supplies... and usually you have lots of left overs... you can use your stamps to make alternative projects!

Here is what I came up with this month... I tried to make some cards with the included supplies without adding extra paper, but not copying the instructions...

On the next one, I used a piece of the included window sheet, but textured it and used as a piece of decoration on the card:

and a closer look, hopefully you can see the texture:

And the last one, I went with the idea of the shaker card as per instructions, but only made one section the shaker window:

Please be sure to hop on over to the next blog, which will bring you to Jen Guarinoh. Simply click on the button below and it will bring you to her blog for some more ideas for this kit ;-)

  4. Oh my gosh how clever to texture the window sheet...thank you so much for that idea! While I love the shaker cards in this kit I also like several of these alternate ideas and I am going to end up with spare window sheets so now I know what to do with them! Cute projects!
