One-Layer Card

Today I decided to "use up" a piece of cardstock that was meant to be a card backing at stamp club this week. During make-and-take we were sponging on a separate piece of white cardstock, creating a strip. Which then was supposed to be layered onto Lemon Lime Twist CS and then onto the thick white cardstock.

Well like it goes sometimes.. someone did not hear that minor little detail and sponged right on the card LOL. I had her start over on the correct piece and kept the card for a project later on... which I used today:

Sooo remember, the green stripe was already sponged on the card, so I masked it off and then used the fun mask and sponged in Dapper Denim over it.  I think it gives it the look of a layered card...sort of
