We had a blast last week during the Technique class as we played with strings and inks... Here are the note cards we made... well these are my samples... and you should have seen all the gorgeous pieces of art that the ladies made. They all turned out differently but fabulous!
The first 2 were done with just one color:
The next 2 were done with 2 colors on ONE string
I simply added a few drops of the second color spaced out on the already inked up string in the first color:
This last one is done in just one color again
It's so much fun to do... a bit messy but well worth it. You should give it a try. Get your old phone book out and use it for that! And the great thing is that you will get 2 prints since you are sandwiching the string between 2 pieces of cardstock before closing the book and pulling out the string...
