Thailand Achievers Blog Hop - Holiday Catalog Favorites

Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for August 2017. This month is the last month of the Thailand Achievers blog hop but I can happily announce that I will be part of the future Alaska Achievers Blog hops too as I've earned it last month, Yay! Our theme this month is the "Holiday Catalog Favorites". There are so MANY amazing products in this catalog that we want to make sure you'll get to see plenty samples to get great ideas for your crafting..

If you are reading my blog in an email, please be sure to click over to my blog to see all of the samples and the hop list underneath...

I am still absolutely in love with the "Painted Harvest" stamp set and came across a neat idea that is called "3D Eclipse". I needed several birthday cards recently and decided to use the technique and stamp set on them but in different colors...

The first one... more traditional.. in sunflower colors. I used Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie:

Then a little brighter... I used Flirty Flamingo and Berry Burst

And lastly, toned down again... I used Sugar Plum and Fresh Fig

How to:

  • The sentiment was stamped first, then the rest of the flowers, leafs and dots
  • The Large Letters thinlits were used to die-cut the name from the stamped layer. Inside pieces of letters are needed too and kept
  • The name was die-cut another time from black CS
  • Stamped layer was added to colored layer and then attached to card
  • Black die-cut letters were glued into letter openings using liquid glue. Then the white/stamped inside letter pieces were added into the black letters
  • Stamped die-cut letters were added over the black letters with adhesive foam strips

You should give it a try! It's much easier than it may seem and you will get stunning results! I'll be showing another card tomorrow that uses a retired stamp set to show you it doesn't have to be flowers...

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Claudia Perry or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Claudia Perry.
