I followed the instructions from the video again, and still didn't "see" the 3-D vision of the star. So I played with the folds until I created "Mountain Folds" on the tips of the star and "Valley Folds" on the score lines inbetween. And Tah Dah - it took on form ....
I've used retired Paper, incase it didn't turn out again. I just wanted to see if the designer paper makes it feel and look different then computer paper. I still think it's quite some waste of designer paper.... but it does look nice ;-)
Here is my first one that I actually like:
Good for you! You are much more tenacious than I am...lol It turned out wonderfully!
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful, Claudia!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl, if at first you don't succeed, try try again! Love it! It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat...you did it!!! Way to go...I like the "country" feel that the paper you used brings to the star.

ReplyDeleteWow!!!! You put a lot of effort into this. It is well worth it, the star is adorable. I am sure that I wouldn't have had the patience to persevere with this!!! Great ornament!
