Designer Calendar

Monday night I held my 3rd and last class on how to make a "Designer Calendar". So I thought I should share the pictures with you too.

You see when I first got the Holiday Mini Catalog and saw the Calendar Kit in it, I thought I had to have it. Once it came in, I thought "hmmm - it's cute, but could be better". So I mulled over it about a month. Then it came to me - I wanted something nicer then just a little pocket calendar. So of course I thought about putting it on a larger piece of Cardstock to display. Then it just hit me... I would use our pretty Designer Paper and designed the holder so it could all be changed out every month to have a different background. You can't see it in the pictures, but my calendar has 6 pages of DSP behind the calendar page so they won't get lost and are there so they can be changed out. I am going to show you a few different views...

See the little sticker sheet on the right side below the bow? It's tucked into the front pocket for easy access...

back

The back pocket holds the rest of the calendar pages (inside the blue holder) and 2 more chocolate chip pieces of Cardstock, which are meant for either photo holders or a place to put a sticky note pad.

I've put my calendar on a metal easel that I've gotten at WalMart in their Frame isle... It's so pretty, I can't wait to use it...

Now I just really hope that Stampin' Up! will come out with another Calendar Kit next year!

If you were not able to come to the class and would like to purchase the electronic instructions for it, e-mail me for the details.
