This week for our challenge, we were to use embossing folders or Texture Plates. Well if you know me, you know that this wasn't really a challenge for me :-) since I love to use all of those!
But I did want to use something new, fresh in! And that is the Embossing Folder "Manhattan Flower" (which is NOW available to order). This embossing folder does such an awesome job, that you really don't need much more...
So I kept it very simple:
To achieve the "marbled" look, I sponged on some white Craft ink first and then went over with a lighter hand and used Rose Red classic ink (same as cardstock). The greeting comes from the Hostess set "Dream a Little", and the label is from the new Matchbox XL die (which comes out in April's Mini catalog). It was layered onto black CS and a white card base. A little paper piercing and white Taffeta Ribbon gives it the finishing touch...
Enjoy your weekend!
