June Hostess Gifts - and a Tutorial

Last week I had all 3 of my stamp club meetings and I made the cutest little gifts for the hostesses. I filled them with pedicure items, little candle, lip balm and chocolates so they could relax...

I am not sure if there is name for those containers, I'll just call them "Carry-All" totes for now...

Here is a group shot:

And here is a close up:

And since everyone liked them so much and just couldn't believe how easy they are to make, I decide I'd show you in my first mini tutorial!

1) You'll need the "Box #2" Bigz XL:

2) You'll cut out 2 from either CS or like I did from Parisian
    Specialty DSP:

2_2 shapes

3) Next, you'll cut off the 2 top tabs

4) Add Tacky Tape to the the little side tab

and adhere to other side!

5) Fold in bottoms tabs

6) But, DO NOT fold down the top tab

7) Repeat all to 2nd box!

8) Apply Tacky Tape to the back of one of the boxes

9) Attach boxes back to back!

10) Punch an opening with the large oval punch for the handle

11) Now you are ready to decorate!

I hope you've enjoyed this mini tutorial and will make some of these cute Carry-All totes too. Just think, you could even make it "manly" and make it look like a tool box!

Don't forget: The oh so pretty "Parisian Breeze" Specialty DSP is on the last chance list and may sell out before the end of the month... So if you need some more, run to my Stampin' Up! website and do some online ordering... and if you do, I'll be sure to get a Carry-All tote to you ASAP!
