It’s time again for one of MaryJo’s sketch challenges. And let me tell you… don’t let that simple little sketch fool you! I had the hardest time with it today…
After much deliberation I finally came up with yet another card that’s really out of my comfort zone… hehehe:
I think my mind was stuck on using that Modern Label punch like the sketch shows, but it’s just not long enough, so I made the banner greeting.
The large button is from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Those buttons are HUGE, but really cute… and work perfect with the little flower buttons you can get for free during Sale-a-Bration!
Supplies
Stamps: Punch Bunch (Sale-a-Bration), Something to Celebrate (L1 Hostess Set, Occasions Mini), Confetti
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Whisper White
Ink: Pacific Point, Basic Black
Accessories: White Organza Ribbon, Sweet Stitches Big Buttons, Ice Cream Parlor Flower Buttons, Dimensionals, Linen Thread
Tools: Owl Punch, Square Lattice Embossing Folder
It don't look like you had a hard time. I love the owl on the birthday banner and the button was the perfect extra! Thanks so much for playing alogn with my sketch challenge.
