Don’t neglect the wood-mount stamps

… is something I have to tell myself at times. Because I have to admit that I really am spoiled by my clear-mount stamps and hardly reach for the the “other” ones anymore.

So today I set out to use a neglected wood stamp set… “Circle Circus”!

I followed a color challenge, provided by my friend Madeline:

And here is my creation:

Since my Technique Sunday hadn’t worn off yet, I was still in the mood to make another card with the “Inlaid Embossing” Technique :-) But this time I used stamped/punched images in inlaid them into the Sahara Sand CS.

This card uses the sneak peek set “Four Frames” again. And I promise I will use some of the other images in the set soon. I just LOVE the polka dot frame and always reach for it!

Tip:
If you don’t want to use thread through your little flower buttons, why not add a rhine stone into the center?!

  1. Cute! I'm definitely more fond of the clear mount :) Wondering just how many of the wood mount I need to keep around!
