Yesterday I‘ve hinted that I would show you are very special card today, so lets not wait any longer!
But first I wanted to tell you who made the card… It’s our sweet and very talented niece Emily that visited us for a few days. She even sat through my Thursday night Stamp Club and seemed to enjoy it.
Here is our youngest stamper/artist:
And here is a close-up of her creation:
She asked me Sunday afternoon if she could make a card since she had an idea for a “Turtle Card”. She did the card with very little guidance! She told me she wanted to use circles to make the turtle, requested the embossing folder she saw during club, came up with the “path” and puddle idea, she wanted to do the sponging… I only asked if she wanted to use the background and some flower punches and glitter… Which she then told me that the “new Black” is “glimmer”! Giggle - She’s my kind of girl!
I am so proud of her creativity! She also told me to keep the card so I could show it to the Stamp Club ladies Of course I had to brag on her right here as well! Great Job, Emily! Hope you’ll keep stamping, don’t let that talent go to waste…
