Faux Postage …

sort of! The card that I am going to show you today uses the “Fresh Vintage” stamp set and the postage punch. And it just looks like the technique called Faux Postage. See here:

faux postage

This is another one of the great cards I got to make during shoe box swap at Leadership. I am not sure that this card had info on who designed it, but I will look and update if I find it, just know it wasn’t me Smile with tongue out

I love the way the “postage” turned out. To achieve this look, you simply ink up the whole stamp in the lighter color first, then use a sponge dauber and pick up the darker color and apply it to the areas of the stamp you want. Then huff the samp and stamp onto CS. Images were punched out with the postage punch and layered onto Early Espresso CS while pushed together.

I also like the butter fly die cut shape with the rhinestone on it. Such a cute little embellishment!

BTW, this post is late because I worked hard around the house today and had stamp club at night. When I noticed during club that I had not posted “yet”, the ladies simply told me that “today” wasn’t over yet Smile

So here you go… Thanks to the Tuesday stamp club ladies, I DID not break my promise of posting every day! Love you guys!
