It’s OK to copy!

You know you don’t always have to come up with a “brand-new” idea for a card. You can find plenty of inspiration out on the web… AND… from your OWN cards. And it is OK to copy yourself! That’s exactly what I did this week, and not only once but twice!

I needed a somewhat easy card for a little card making session for Dori and her Family Support Group ladies. So I pulled my card from January Stamp-a-Stack and simply changed the colors.

Here is the new version:

And this was the original:

So then I needed another Make-and-Take for later one and I still had materials left over from Dori’s party, which of course didn’t want them to go to waste Smile

I did want to use our Sale-a-Bration DSP. So I just changed up the colors for the flower:

So this just shows that you can quick ideas from your very own cards too! Just a little change of color, use of DSP adding a brad and we have a different look…

  2. Claudia, die Karten sehen klasse aus! Von der Farbkombi her gefällt mir die letzte am besten! Vielleicht schaffe ich es ja in den nächsten Tagen mal so eine Karte zu kopieren!
    Danke für die Inspiration!
