A new Technique perhaps?

While I was working on my leadership swap, I was going to emboss on Vellum Cardstock using VersaMark ink and Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder. But then I thought, It'll be easier if I used colored ink instead. So I used my silver Encore Pad… AND found the results to be stunning! The embossed image turned metallic red! Soooo maybe I created a new technique by accident? Either way, I call it Faux Metallic Embossing…

Since I didn’t get the cards completely done before I left for Houston, I had to do a couple of small things there one night Winking smile

Have stamps – will travel… LOL!

So you guys, why don’t you give this new technique a try?
