Oooops, color trap!

I've been trying really hard to be good and not only use my comfort colors... teal, blues... or at least not 2 days in a row. Well, today I walked into that trap! I forgot that I used Bermuda Bay and Night of Navy yesterday. LOL - But the good thing is, yesterday those were not the main colors.. today, they ARE.

Did you try to find this huge butterfly stamp in the catalog? Well, let me help you out here, you won't! It's not a rubberstamp! Well it is now, but only because I used the largest of the butterflies framelit and cut fun foam with it and made it into a stamp. If you want to do this too, look for the funfoam that is adhesive backed already. That makes it so easy!

This was my first one I made and used a piece of wood for it. I would not recommend that. Use and acrylic block as you can clean off access ink from the block prior to stamping so you don't transfer ink from the block to you cardstock...

I inked up my "stamp" in Bermuda Bay first and then I used a sponge dauber and dabbed some Night of Navy ink on the outside of the wings...
