Poinsettia or Sunflower?

Well.... it can be both... Or really any flower you want it to be! Yep, it's the new "Festive Flower Builder Punch" from the Occasions catalog that I am talking about... You can find it on page 31 and on the front cover... Very pretty as poinsettia and the star too.

But I had sunflowers on my mind! Here is what I made:

I started out with a 1-1/4" circle punch and then added a row of the larger petals and then 2 or 3 rows of the smaller petals. And the very top has 2 of the double petals crossed over each other and 2 of the small fillers in Early Espresso. I did spritz some ink/alcohol mix on the flower for some subtle speckling... It is so subtle that it doesn't show up in the picture. LOL   And of course I did some sponging too.

I used 2 different textures on the card and like it! It's something I always forget to do...
