Vintage Leaves - are so pretty

Today I am going to show you a card I made for a swap among other Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  Here it is:

The background was created with the shaving cream technique, which is so easy and fun. Here is a quick verbal tutorial for you:

You use the cheapest aerosol shaving cream and simply spray a layer of Shaving Cream onto a plastic plate, spread it out some. Add several drops of re-inker in 2 colors. Use a skewer to mix up shaving cream a little but not too much! You do want to still see white and only have ribbons of color
A piece of white CS is placed on top of the shaving cream and pressed down so that the shaving cream will come out on sides a bit. Leave the paper sitting like this and count till 8. Pick it up and use a scraper to remove most of the shaving cream. Add that cream back onto plate to use again, fold in some of the white shaving cream before you do more. Place CS on top of a  paper towel and use another one to wipe off all of the shaving cream residue. Let dry, or heat set. You can get several pieces of CS from one batch without having to add more ink. Once the colors mixed too much and not lots of white spots left, it's time to clean the plate and make a new batch...

BUT - if you are a visual learner, be patient... I'll try to do a very quick video for you tomorrow!

Until then...
