Stampin' Blends on Foil Paper, yep!

I knew that we can use alcohol markers to color embellishments such as pearls, rhinestones, buttons etc. so it hit me the other day that I should be able to lend some color to silver foil paper...with some limitations of course...

I've punched out the leafs from silver foil paper and then used the dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends marker and colored it. Well of course it being slick (non porous) it can't absorb the color and you'll basically move it back and forth. So I decided to just make it obvious lines and sort of flicked in one direction... here is a close up

I love the outcome as it's shiny and unique and almost seems textured... very cool!
