Try This Technique Sunday - Inky fingers guaranteed!

Today we are playing with the technique called "Reinker Spread". It is such a fun technique that once you get started with it, you don't want to stop!

In short:
On shimmery white CS, the image was heat embossed using white craft ink and white embossing powder (some people use clear embossing powder, but I personally prefer white... I gives it a crisper line). Then it was spritzed with water until there were actual puddles of water. Using the aqua painter and classic reinkers, a little reinker liquid was picked up with the aqua painter, and just touched to the water on the CS. The ink will spread and make cool designs. It takes about 30 min. for it to dry!

Oh and speaking of inky fingers.... You know how sometimes you have a hard time getting that ink back off? If you use a little dish soap on a moist "pumice stone" and rub over the inky fingers.... almost all will come right off! (I bought a real fine one pumice stone at WalMart at the nail department, it's light green on one side and white on the other)

Have a nice Sunday evening!
