A little late for today’s challenge, but I am busy, busy, busy… I had a class in the morning… then went to take care of my pet friends and now getting ready for the PM class.
So before I totally forget, let me post today’s challenge! Here is the Sketch:
And it’s a good one again, Thanks Mary-Jo!
Here is my card:
I am very excited over this card, because not only did I try my hand on a “vintage looking” card, but I also used “My Digital Studio” to create the background paper! The script paper in the top note shape was done digitally! And I used a vintage overlay stamp set in MDS. See close up:
Then I did lots of sponging… added vintage lace and button… Stamp Sets used: Because I Care, Style Beautiful, Wonderfully Worn. Colors used: Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Make sure to check out MaryJo's Blog to see what the other participants came up with...
Very pretty, love the red and browns, the sponging is so neat, I always get rub marks on mine somewhere, beautiful job.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is a very tasteful...and useful way to use MDS! I may have to set mine up, as I haven't yet done so (blush!).
ReplyDeleteLove the vintageness of your card and how you combined MDS and nonMDS; yes I will have to set my MDS set up now that I have time to play with it! Mary L
ReplyDeleteWow, this is stunning. I love the ribbon and the sponging is perfect! Absolutely beautiful card! Fun idea with the background paper. Thanks so much for playing along!
