Techno Stampers Sketch Challenge

MaryJo had a REAL easy sketch for us today! And I like it a lot when I can combine easy with “have on file”. You know some of those “keep for later” images do come handy every now and then!

Here is her sketch:

TSSC160

And this is what I came up with:

tssc_natures Nest

And I really wanted you to see how sparkly the dragonfly is:

The Technique used on the background is called “Versa Mark Resist” where you stamp your image in VersaMark ink onto glossy white CS and then use the brayer to roll the ink over the images. . .

Supplies

Stamps:
Nature’s Nest, Short & Sweet

Paper:
Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, Glossy White, Whisper White, DSP Pattern Stack in Regals

Ink:
Tempting Turquoise, VersaMark, Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry Craft Ink (on Dragonfly)

Accessories:
Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, Brads, Filigree Flower Brad, Dimensionals

Tools:
Brayer, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, 5-Petal Flower Punch

By the way, the reason why I used Rich Razzleberry along with Tempting Turquoise is the Color Coach! I wasn’t sure which color to use and my friend the Color Coach told me :-) Isn’t he nice?!

If you would like to see what the other participant’s came up with, check out the “blog hop” below!

  1. I have never used that technique before. It is stunning and so is your card. I will take some time to try the technique. Thanks for sharing!
