Just a little reminder: I do use "retired" items in my projects so current customers can get inspired! You will notice that once you click on the listed items as they will not show up in my SU! store

You "Pined" it, now what are you going to do with it?

We've all done it. Scrolled through the endless "pins" of creative delights. Telling ourselves "Ooo! I want to make that card." We'll then... Lets do just that!

Hi, I am Theresa and I am a member of Claudia's second Monday class. A big thanks goes out to Claudia for letting her club members post while she enjoys her well deserved trip to Fiji!

Of all my "pins" on my Creative Inspiration board, this card is the one I have wanted to re-create the most. So many if its elements lend themselves to SU! style.

Now here is my take on this card. First thing I knew I wanted to do was add the Melon Mambo background. Because that is what Claudia taught me to do with an all white card. :-). But before I attached the card to the background I stamp the repeating verse. I used the SU! grid paper as a guide. Finally I stamped the flowers and butterfly. The butterfly also has a pearl accent.

The following stamp sets where used: A Word For You; Best of Butterflies; and With All My Heart.

Now it's your turn to take inspiration and make it real!

  2. Teresa, don't you just love simplicity? Sometimes I think it takes more thought to do the simple ones. I'm guilty of thinking more is better! Thanks for the reminder that that isn't necessarily so! Great job.
