Flower Cards Series–Card #10

Today’s card is the last one in my Bloomin’ Bouquet series and is very different to the others previously posted ones.

See for yourself:

DSC_0010

But I totally LOOOOOOVE this card. And I normally don’t reach for Daffodil Delight because it is so very bright… but in combination with the black Polka Dots Paper its very striking.

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing the cards and that you can use this kit not just for the obvious purpose. I’d say you’d better order one before those kits are gone, that way you can whip out some cute cards in no time when in a bind…

Flower Cards Series–Card #9

Today’s card in my Bloomin’ Bouquet series shows that you can easily work with limited supplies. The greeting banner was part of the kit. BUT it was a long strip, that was meant to be folded in half, and one side had a greeting and the other had Stampin’ Up info. WELL, I cut it in half and stamped my greeting on the back, and sponged it to make it stand out more.

Flower Cards Series–Card #8

Today’s card shows you that you can use the flowers as single layers as well, not just stacked on top of one another. Keep in mind that one flower has a slit cut between the petals. To prevent that from showing I’ve placed a dimensional on the back over the slit.

Flower Cards Series–Card #7

Today’s card for the Bloomin’ Bouquet series was inspired by a card I’ve seen on display during my Fiji trip.

The white “tag” was partially die cut on the top edge with the Floral Frames framelit. You basically insert the CS into the opening of the frame so that the part to be cut is under the cutting edge and the opposite side sits on top and won’t get cut. BUT you still only want to roll the platform through part ways, just until you can feel that it went over the cutting part… then you’ll rewind!

Oh – and now that we have the MAGNETIC platform, using framelits and edgelits will be SO easy – no sliding around anymore!

Flower Cards Series–Card #5

Back in the swing of things… sort of speak… I am presenting you Card #5 in my Bloomin’ Bouquet Card series – with a new color:

DSC_0005

The lighter colored cardstock and the stamped flourish is one of our new “In Colors” this year and it’s called Crisp Cantaloupe. It’s a very nice color and goes very well with the Calypso Coral…

The tag under the flower stack in chevron is a piece from the kit!

Flower Cards Series–Card #3

This is my 3rd card in the flower cards series and it has very little stamping. Well, actually only the splatter pattern is stamped! The greeting banner is part of the Bloomin’ Bouquet kit!

DSC_0003

I just sponged the edges of the banner in Island Indigo to make it pop a little more! On this card, I did curl the petals of 2 of the 3 flower layers and then attached with dimensionals.

Very easy and quick and not a lot of supplies to give you info for besides:
