Last month went by so quickly that I ran out of time to show you the pretty coasters we made the month before.
But while looking through my files I came across the pictures and decided today is the day to share!
The first one:
And the other one:
Supplies used:
Swallowtail, Item #129216 $13.95
Pleasant Poppies, Item #129499 $13.95
Jet Black StāzOn Pad, Item #101406 $7.95
Blender Pens, Item #102845 $9.95
The tiles came from Lowe’s and were the glossy, very inexpensive ones
Sealer was purchased at WalMart, the high Gloss kind!
How to:
- Gesso was painted onto Tiles with foam brush, let dry completely. One good layer should be enough. You want to make sure that no glossy surface will show.
- Make sure your black StazOn inkpad is moist, and re-ink between each tile if creating several ones
- Image was stamped on tiles, let dry completely
- Images were colored in using blender pen and ink refills. Make sure that you don't apply too much pressure so you won't rub off the Gesso accidentally.
- Once done and dry, take outside and apply 1 coat of sealer (sparingly), let dry. Go back and apply 1-2 more coats of sealer as needed.
- Add felt feet once completely dry
