Snowflake Wishes and a Sale

Yikes it's been before Thanksgiving that I've posted last... I've been so busy during that time with Pet sitting and then stamp clubs that I just didn't get to play and share. 

But today I am back with a fun snowflake card!

The blue-ish background was created with left-over inks from another project where I used the baby wipe technique.  (multi colored inkpad made from a stack of baby wipes and ink refills).

I didn't want to throw out the saturated inked up baby wipe stack, so I simply pulled it across whisper white cardstock to create several pieces of fun background paper...

Christmas Layers

Boy it sure is challenging to take a good picture of the Mercury Glass Designer Acetate... and then I even used the Noble Peacock Foil sheet for the snowflakes.... See 2nd picture for a better color depiction of the foil...

Snowflake Sentiments

So today I posted the tip of the week on Facebook... and it was how to stamp off using the Stamparatus... simply place a scrap piece of paper over your cardstock and stamp on it first, then remove the paper and stamp again without inking up again... This will give you the lighter stamped image....

And of course I had to make my example into a card!

Beautiful Blizzard

I know the temperature we have here in the South is nothing compared to what some of you experience with the heavy snow fall and all... but, brrrrr this spoiled one right here is not used to the cold anymore... been gone too long from Germany lol... and I thought a card with snowflakes was in order today!
