Celebrate Sunflowers - Card #2

This is the 2nd card from class and I wanted to show that you can use the sunflower die in combination of non-traditional colors as well... A toothbrush was used to create the splattering!

Bokeh Dots

The other day a stamping friend asked me to stamp my Bokeh background stamp because hers doesn't seem to act right (since mine did well, we are going to test hers here soon)...  and now I had a background piece that needed to be made into a card!

Here is my super fast card:

I added some silver splatters (mixed some silver delicata re-inker with rubbing alcohol and used AquqPainter to splatter)....but they don't show up well in the photo... If you wonder why I am listing the dark Stampin' Blends marker in Highland Heather... I've colored 2 of the rhinestones with it!

Mercury Glass Designer Acetate

Have you noticed the Mercury Glass Designer Acetate in the Holiday catalog? Nope? Take another look.... it's on page 33. You can do so many cool things with and even change it's look by layering colored cardstock underneath.

Today however, I am only using a little strip which is a left-over piece and too pretty to throw out!
