Waves of inspiration

Today I was working on some swap cards and thought I should share what I came up with...

I used the oh so pretty bundle called "Waves of inspiration" and really had fun making the cards....

Not sure you can see the shine from the embossing..

Blended Seasons - Fresh Color Combo

Today's card is a swap card I've received while on the incentive trip. I just love the fresh colors that fellow demo Julie K. used here:

This is such a great stamp set to use our Stampin' Blends with ... such smooth coloring!

Blue Daisy

The card I am showing you today is one that I got to make during the shoe box swap at OnStage. I find this color combo very soothing!

Rock and Roll

Today's swap card uses the oldie but gooddie technique called "Rock and Roll". As a refresher... you ink up a stamp in the lighter color completely and then roll the outer edges of that stamp over a darker inkpad... Try it... it's so easy! Just be sure to clean your stamp before stamping a second time so you won't transfer the dark/mixed ink onto your light inkpad...

And you can't see 2 things really in the picture...

1) Clear Wink of Stella was applied to the center leaf making it oh so sparkly and
2) the same leaf was die cut from brown fun foam and used to pop up the stamped image. That gives it even more dimension because of the darker color underneath

Oh and the rhinestones were colored with the Stampin' Blends... just because it's fun! This pretty card was designed by fellow demo Angela Khan
